DOGE Mining — The Counter That Went Back To Zero

Verdict up front: a user of DOGE Mining watched adverts until his balance reached 37% of the 100 needed to open withdrawals. He opened the app the next day and the counter had started over. The app takes no money from you. It takes something it can sell.

DOGE Mining is published by ASMIK PRO. On the day we checked it showed 3.2 stars from 324 reviews, 5,000+ downloads and ads, with no in-app purchases listed. It is filed under Business and was last updated on 2 March 2026. The same developer publishes LTC Mining, USDT Mining and BTC Mining.

The counter that reset

Vic Johnson, 21 March 2026:

A user’s account

“Because of things like this I don’t like downloading all this new mining apps… after watching many ad to boost, and is showing 37 percentage, that I need 100 before withdraw open, only for me to visit the app today, after watching ad booster everything just started over again, what a total waste.”

Nothing was stolen in that account, and that is what makes it worth reading carefully. No deposit was taken. No card was charged. A man watched adverts for days, reached a third of the way to a payout, and the progress bar went back to zero.

What the app is actually selling

There is no purchase here, so it is easy to conclude there is no harm. Follow the money instead.

Every advert watched pays the developer. The balance on screen costs the developer nothing to increase, because it is a number in a database, not a coin on a chain. The threshold determines how many adverts a user watches before giving up. And a reset returns a user who was close to the threshold to the start of the queue, where they are worth watching adverts again.

The product being sold is your attention. The Dogecoin balance is the price list.

The store screenshots show the whole mechanic

You do not need to install it to see how this works. The gallery on the listing shows a dial at 100% beside a balance of 900 DOGE and a Withdraw button — and another panel showing 0 DOGE at 0% with a Start Mining button, a countdown, and “Tasks for acceleration” offering to speed things up in exchange for actions.

Those are the two states of the app, advertised side by side: full, and empty.

The listing avoids saying it pays

The description is more carefully worded than most in this category. It talks about a “promotional DOGE accrual model” and says payouts follow “the service rules”, with “current limits, requirements, and available withdrawal options… displayed inside the application”.

Then, at the bottom:

“DOGE Mining is a promotional application and is not a financial productEarnings, results, or payouts are not guaranteed and may depend on service rules, limits, and usage conditions.”

Every term that matters — the threshold, the limits, the conditions under which a balance can be wiped — is kept inside the app, where nobody can read it before installing. And “payouts are not guaranteed” covers a reset perfectly.

Notice too what it does not say. There is no statement anywhere that the app is a simulation, that it performs no real mining, or that the DOGE is not real. Users are left to draw the obvious conclusion from a Dogecoin balance and a Withdraw button.

A Dogecoin mining app, in the Business category. We have now found apps in this vertical filed under Tools, Events and Business. Finance is where a user shopping for a crypto app looks, and where Play applies its heaviest scrutiny. These apps are not there.

The data panel

Data safety states “Data isn’t encrypted” and “Data can’t be deleted”, with Device IDs shared with third parties — and, contradicting itself in the same box, “No data collected”.

A family of four

ASMIK PRO publishes DOGE Mining, LTC Mining, USDT Mining and BTC Mining. Four coins, one mechanic. If the counter resets in one of them, there is no reason to expect a different result in the others — but each carries its own rating, and a user burned by one will not necessarily recognise the next.

  • An app with no purchases can still cost you. Hours of adverts are the payment.
  • If the terms are only inside the app, treat that as the term.
  • A progress bar that resets is not a bug report, it is the design. Check the reviews for the word “reset”.
  • A crypto app filed under Business, Tools or Events has chosen a quieter shelf.
  • Check the developer’s other apps before installing the next coin in the set.

If you have been watching adverts for a balance

Stop and uninstall — there is nothing to recover, and every further advert pays the operator. Do not accept any offer to buy a wallet, pay a fee or upgrade a plan to release the balance; that is where these apps turn from wasting your time to taking your money. Report the listing with the “Flag as inappropriate” link on the Play page, and report it at IC3.gov if you did pay anything.
