22BT Coin Mining — flagged app

22BT Coin Mining — Wait 14 Days or Pay $1.99 to Withdraw

Verdict up front: users of 22BT Coin Mining describe a withdrawal with two doors: wait 14 days and lose about half of what you mined, or pay $1.99 for a fast withdrawal. One user who paid says the money still had not arrived a day later. The app has 500,000+ downloads.

An app called Coin Mining, filed under Productivity

The name on the listing is 22BT Coin Mining. The description never uses the word mining. It calls the app a “remote management tool and a secure digital wallet for your digital assets” inside a “BT ecosystem”. The gallery shows a power button that starts mining, a “BT ENERGY” meter, and an “Invite & Earn” referral page.

The category is Productivity. We have seen this before on this site: a crypto earning app filed away from Finance, where Google applies closer scrutiny and where shoppers compare it with real financial products. It is a small detail, and it is free to check before you install anything.

EzLife, the developer, also publishes a TV app, a map app for loot boxes, a prayer app and an AI tutor. Nothing in that catalogue suggests a mining operation.

The withdrawal, as users describe it

Frank Zdelar, 2 June 2026, gives the fullest account, marked helpful by eleven other people:

A user’s account

You mine five minutes at a time. Coins lose value every 15 hours. You can withdraw only to the app’s own wallet. A free withdrawal becomes available after 14 days, but the value drops 52%. The alternative is to pay $1.99 for a 10-minute withdrawal. He paid. A day later it had not arrived.

Brandon De leon, 30 May 2026, describes the same fork and says he “watched it disappear” — he lost the $1.99. Isaac Chasara, 14 July 2026, says the mined balance had vanished by the time he reached withdrawal, a withdrawal fee was charged anyway, and the help section would not open.

Why the design matters more than the fee

$1.99 is not a lot of money. That is the point. A decaying balance creates urgency, a 14-day wait creates a deadline, and a 52% haircut creates a loss you can avoid — for a small fee. Each step is designed to make paying feel like the sensible choice.

Three further features make the balance hard to trust. It is held in the app’s own wallet rather than an address you control. It loses value on a timer the operator sets. And it can only leave through a door the operator also controls. A number with those three properties is not an asset. It is a score.

What 57,800 reviews do and do not tell you

A 4.2 average across 57,800 reviews looks reassuring. But most people who rate an app like this do so in the first days, while the counter is still climbing and nothing has been asked of them. The complaints on this page all come at the same point: the withdrawal. That is the only moment that tests whether the balance is real.

What real mining would look like

A phone cannot mine Bitcoin at any meaningful rate, and a genuine cloud-mining service would name its pool, show a worker ID, and pay to a wallet address you own, where anyone can check the transaction on a public block explorer. 22BT Coin Mining offers a power button, an energy bar and a fee.

Before you pay any mining app

Four checks take less than two minutes. Read the full description for the words simulation, virtual or for entertainment. Find the withdrawal minimum and compare it with what one day of “mining” adds. Look at the Play category and the developer name: a mining app filed under Tools or Productivity, or published under a personal name or a string of keywords, is avoiding scrutiny. Then sort the reviews by newest and read the one-star ones about withdrawals. If none of those checks passes, the only safe amount to spend is nothing.

  • A balance that loses value on a timer is built to rush you.
  • “Pay a little to withdraw faster” is a fee for access to your own money. Treat it as a stop sign.
  • Withdrawal only to the app’s own wallet means the money has not left the operator.
  • Check the Play category. A mining app under Productivity is avoiding Finance for a reason.
  • Read the newest one-star reviews first, not the average.

If you have already paid

Cancel any subscription in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions), not inside the app. Request a refund through Google Play while the charge is recent. Screenshot your balance, the withdrawal screen and every purchase before anything changes. Then report it at IC3.gov, or to Action Fraud in the UK.
