Prim West S.A. (primwestsa.com) does not sell you a trading account. It sells you shares. “Class A Participating Shares”, to be exact, in what it calls “a privately managed Swiss investment institution” in Geneva with roots in the “Primat family”. FINMA, the Swiss regulator, has put the site on its warning list. The alert was shared on IOSCO’s international alerts network on 28 October 2026.
How a fake share offer works
You are asked to “Request Shareholder Qualification”. That step makes you feel chosen. Then comes a subscription form and a “Shareholder Portal” where your units slowly gain value. The page says payment may be made through “approved digital settlement methods”, which in plain words usually means crypto.
The site even warns you that it “does not engage in unsolicited outreach” and that you should check emails come from its domain. Scam sites copy that line from real firms because it sounds careful. It costs them nothing, and it makes you trust the one domain they control.
- Swiss companies can be checked for free at zefix.ch.
- Swiss asset managers need FINMA authorisation, listed at finma.ch.
- Prim West S.A. appears in neither, but does appear on the FINMA warning list.
- Do not pay to “qualify” for anything.

Prim West S.A. by the numbers
| What the page says | What we checked |
|---|---|
| “privately managed Swiss investment institution” | No Prim West S.A. found in the Swiss commercial register (Zefix) |
| Class A unit price “USD $9.68” | The offer box lower down says “$9.50 Per Share” |
| “67 Participating Shareholders” | But “$2.4B+” in strategic assets |
| Geneva phone number | Printed as “+41 22 XXX XXXX” |
| Insights from Q3 2025 | Domain registered 18 April 2026 |
Two different share prices on one page, a phone number nobody filled in and a Swiss S.A. that Switzerland’s own register cannot find. Any one of those would be odd. Together they describe a website, not an institution.
