MGP Wallet (mgp-wallet.com) calls itself “THE SAFEST & MOST RELIABLE MONEY TRANSACTION PLATFORM”. It lets you send, receive, deposit, invest and exchange money, and it runs a crypto exchange on the side. Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission has warned about it, together with a sister site, mgp-usdt.com. IOSCO shared both alerts on 6 October 2026.

Why a wallet plus a USDT site

The sister domain, mgp-usdt.com, points to how the money moves. USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. Many investment scams in Asia ask victims to buy USDT and send it to a platform wallet. Once it is there, the platform controls it. A wallet brand that sounds like a payment app makes that step feel ordinary.

The wording on the page is generic enough to fit any payment product, from bookings to mining. That is a sign of a purchased script. Real payment firms describe one service clearly and show the licence that allows it.

Payments, investing and a crypto exchange in one wallet would need several licences in Thailand, including a digital asset business licence from the SEC. MGP Wallet shows none. Its headline even misspells its main selling point: “The Secure, Easiest And Fastes Money Transfer”.
