TridentFX — flagged scam broker

TridentFX — Risk-Free Trading, Bitcoin Deposits Only

TridentFX (trident-fx.com) opens with a banner that reads “RISK-FREE TRADING EXPERIENCE” above the line “New to Forex? Start Your Journey With Us.” The domain was registered on 1 May 2026. BrokersView flagged TridentFX on 12 July 2026.

TridentFX’s claims against its own small print

Headline claim Small print on the same site
“Risk-Free Trading Experience” Trading “carries a high level of risk of losing all of your initial bitcoin or cryptocurrency”
“Licensed, transparent and compliant” No regulator named; only “Company Number: 11757150”
Card logos under payment methods “We do not accept any fiat deposits or any other form of currency except cryptocurrency (bitcoin)”
One brand, TridentFX Two company names: “TRIDENT-FX trading and consulting limited” and “TRIDENT EDUCATION SERVICES LIMITED”

The footer gives “125 Old Broad street London EC2N 1HP” and “Copyrights © 2025 – 2026 TridentFX”. A UK company number is not an FCA authorisation, and a broker that only accepts bitcoin has chosen the one payment method that cannot be reversed.

What a bitcoin-only broker means for you

Card payments can be disputed and bank transfers can sometimes be recalled. Bitcoin sent to a platform’s wallet cannot. That is why unlicensed brokers push crypto deposits, even when, as here, the site still displays card logos.

  1. FCA-authorised brokers are listed on register.fca.org.uk with a firm reference number.
  2. TridentFX shows a company number only.
  3. Its “risk-free” promise contradicts its own risk warning.
  4. BrokersView alert: 12 July 2026.

Checking a London address yourself

Before you deposit with any broker that gives a London address, search the FCA register for the firm name and the address. A real FCA-authorised firm appears with a firm reference number, a list of permissions and the website it is allowed to use.

If TridentFX or either of its two company names does not appear, it is not authorised to offer you trading. A company number on its own only shows that a company exists. It says nothing about whether that company may hold your money, and an address in the City of London can be rented by the month.
