What the listing promises
The description calls the app “a powerful and secure Bitcoin cloud mining app” that “connects users to cloud-based mining services, allowing you to participate in remote mining operations”. The gallery has five panels: High-Speed Mining System, Increase Mining Performance (a boosters shop), Safe & Instant Withdrawals — withdraw your mining rewards securely anytime, Global Mining Leaderboard, and Invite Friends & Get Rewards.
The developer name, Spying Tools App, has nothing to do with mining, cloud services or finance.

Bruce Sedgwick, 24 August 2026, paid for a 660 TH/s, 30-day rate. After watching one set of ads for a 12-hour boost, he says his rate stayed stuck at the boosted-only figure, never higher than 319 TH/s, long after the boost should have ended. He cannot understand why the paid amount never returned.
A paid rate that silently drops to less than half is a throttle, and the buyer has no way to prove it. The only record of the hashrate is the number the app chooses to display.
A withdrawal that looks like one
The most important detail in the reviews is the phrase simulate a withdrawal. The app walks the user through a withdrawal flow — limit, address, confirmation — and the wallet on the other end receives nothing. From inside the app, it looks as if the money has gone. Only a check of the real wallet shows otherwise.
Alalibo Brown, 28 June 2026, gave a friendlier review but asked the developers to “work hard on withdrawals”, answer emails, check that the support address is correct, and “define the app if it is for entertainment”. That is a paying user asking what the product actually is.
Before you pay any mining app
Four checks take less than two minutes. Read the full description for the words simulation, virtual or for entertainment. Find the withdrawal minimum and compare it with what one day of “mining” adds. Look at the Play category and the developer name: a mining app filed under Tools or Productivity, or published under a personal name or a string of keywords, is avoiding scrutiny. Then sort the reviews by newest and read the one-star ones about withdrawals. If none of those checks passes, the only safe amount to spend is nothing.
- Always confirm a withdrawal in your own wallet, not on the app’s confirmation screen.
- Screenshot the hashrate you paid for and check it again after 24 hours.
- A developer name unrelated to finance is a cheap, fast warning sign.
- Test with ads only. If a free withdrawal never arrives, a paid one will not either.

Cancel any subscription in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions), not inside the app. Request a refund through Google Play while the charge is recent. Screenshot your balance, the withdrawal screen and every purchase before anything changes. Then report it at IC3.gov, or to Action Fraud in the UK.
