Verdict up front: Bitcoin Miner Cloud BTC Mining states in its own description that there is “no real mining, no earning, and no connection to actual cryptocurrencies”. It then sells in-app purchases, from the Finance category, under a developer name ending in Fintech. Do not buy anything inside it.

Credit where it is due, and then the problem
Most apps in this genre bury the word “simulation” in a sentence of small print. This one is unusually direct: “explore BTC mining through our crypto mining simulation just for entertainment. There is no real mining, no earning, and no connection to actual cryptocurrencies. Everything inside the app is virtual…” followed by a disclaimer headed Disclaimer.
That is a clear statement, and a user who reads it cannot be misled. The problem is everything wrapped around it.
Finance, not Games
Google Play has a Simulation category and a Games section. This app is filed under Finance, beside banking apps, brokerages and payment tools. Someone browsing Finance is looking for something that handles money; someone browsing Simulation knows they are looking at a toy.
⚠ Verified evidence — checked 23 September 2026
- The description says: “There is no real mining, no earning, and no connection to actual cryptocurrencies.”
- It is filed under Finance — not Simulation, and not Games.
- The developer is “TradeBee Fintech” — a name that implies financial technology for an app that performs none.
- The trailer graphic reads “Mine. Grow.” over a hand tapping a mining dashboard.
- It carries ads and in-app purchases on top of a self-declared simulation.
- It holds 4.7 stars from 4,520 reviews across 50K+ downloads.
“Fintech”, “Mine”, “Grow”
The developer name is TradeBee Fintech. The trailer reads Mine. Grow. The title is Bitcoin Miner Cloud BTC Mining. The icon is a gold Bitcoin.
Every signal a user processes before reading — category, publisher name, title, icon, motion graphic — says financial product. One paragraph of text, below the fold, says game. Disclosure works when it is placed where the decision is made, and this one is placed where the decision has already been taken.
What the purchases buy
In an app with no real mining and no earning, an in-app purchase buys a faster number. That is all it can buy. It is not fraud in the narrow sense — the description is honest — but the packaging is built so the buyer believes they are purchasing mining capacity, and the Finance placement multiplies that by fifty thousand installs.
Check a mining app in one minute
Tap Read more and search the description for “simulation”, “simulated”, “virtual” and “entertainment”. If any of them appear, no cryptocurrency is coming out, whatever the icon, the category and the trailer suggest. Then decide whether you want to buy upgrades in a game filed under Finance.
If you have already paid
Cancel the subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions — not inside the app, where cancelling often does nothing. Request a refund through Google Play while the charge is recent. Screenshot your balance, the withdrawal screen and every purchase before anything changes. If you handed over exchange API keys, delete them in your exchange account now and create new ones. Then report it at IC3.gov, or to Action Fraud in the UK.
Our view: Bitcoin Miner Cloud admits there is no mining and no earning, then sells upgrades from the Finance aisle under a “Fintech” name. Do not spend money in it.
