Verdict up front: Shark Invests offers “3 income systems” — daily dividends, market trading, and its own Shark Coin at a price the platform fixes itself until December. Its live counters claim 305 investors and RM 41,343 total withdrawn against RM 2,683 currently invested. It is on the Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List.

A fixed price is the whole problem

A market price is what two strangers agree on. Shark Coin has no market: the platform that issues it also quotes it, and has announced that the quote will not move until a timestamped minute on 1 December 2026.

That arrangement has one useful property for the operator and none for the buyer. It makes a holding look stable on the dashboard, so nobody sells, while the only party who can change the number is the party that owes it. There is no exchange listing, no block explorer and no independent quote anywhere — so after 1 December, whatever the price becomes is also a decision, not a market.

Read the three counters against each other

The platform publishes them itself: 305 investors, RM 2,683 current investment, RM 41,343 total withdrawn. Divide the second by the first and the average live balance is under RM 9 a head.

The withdrawal figure is the one being advertised, because a large number beside the word withdrawn is meant to answer the only question a depositor has. But money already paid out to other people is not a commitment to pay you, and in a scheme funded by deposits it is the mechanism: early payouts are the marketing budget. Either way the numbers are typed by the operator, verifiable by nobody, and sitting on a six-month-old domain.

Three systems, one pot

Daily dividends, token trading and market trading are presented as three ways to earn. They are three doors into the same balance, controlled by the same operator, priced by the same operator and withdrawable only with the same operator’s cooperation.

The first of them is the oldest promise in this business. Daily returns from active investment describes a yield that arrives every day regardless of what any market did that day — which no trading strategy produces, and which only a pool of incoming deposits can fund.

Bank-grade security, no bank

The phrase is doing the job a custodian would normally do. Real segregation means client money sits at a named institution, separate from the firm’s own funds, verifiable by a third party.

No institution is named here, no company is named, and no regulator is named — except the one that named Shark Invests.

  • An in-house token at a fixed price is a number in a database, not an asset.
  • A big withdrawn figure is advertising, not evidence that you will be paid.
  • Daily returns come from deposits, not from trading.
  • “Bank-grade” without a named bank is a simile.

If you have already paid

Stop adding funds and stop reinvesting a dashboard balance — it is not money until it lands in your bank. Do not pay any release fee. Screenshot the account, the token balance and every transfer, then report it to the Securities Commission Malaysia and to your bank. Ignore any advance-fee recovery offer.
