Capitals Holding SA Scam — FINMA-Listed and Still Lending

Verdict up front: Capitals Holding SA (holding-capitals.com) offers wealth management, asset management and loans from an address in Lugano. Switzerland’s regulator FINMA put the company and its website on its warning list on 20 May 2026. Four months later the site still invites visitors to “Request a Loan”. Do not apply and do not pay any fee.

A registered company that FINMA still warns about

Unlike most sites on FINMA’s list, this one is a real company: FINMA records Capitals Holding SA as entered in the commercial register, domiciled in Lugano, and the website prints a UID, CHE-318.096.544. Being registered is not the same as being authorised. Anyone can register a company in Switzerland; managing other people’s money or lending professionally needs supervision. FINMA puts a registered company on its warning list when it believes it may be offering such services without the authorisation they require.

“Request a Loan”

The menu has a separate “Request a Loan” page next to wealth management and asset management. Advance-fee loan fraud is one of the commonest ways unauthorised finance sites make money: the loan is approved quickly, then an insurance, notary or “activation” fee is requested before any money is released, and the loan never arrives. No genuine lender asks you to pay before it pays you.

A track record on a new domain

The homepage promises a “proven track record of delivering strong returns”, “optimal returns while minimizing risks”, and says “over the years, we have grown and evolved”. RDAP shows holding-capitals.com was registered on 2 October 2025 for a single year — it expires on 2 October 2026. The homepage names no licensed individual and no regulator. The site even lists “marketing services” alongside asset management.

Before you deal with any Swiss finance firm

Check two lists at finma.ch: the authorised institutions, and the warning list. A commercial-register entry only proves a company exists. If a lender asks for money before paying out, walk away.
