Verdict up front: Financière St Gabriel presents itself as a Paris wealth-management house, and runs a “VIGILANCE” banner across the top of its homepage warning visitors to check the sender address on emails claiming to be from it. The AMF added the site to its blacklist on 10 September 2026 as an unauthorised actor.

The warning at the top of the page
Above the hero image, in small capitals: VIGILANCE — “Nos e-mails officiels utilisent uniquement @financiere-st-gabriel.com. Vérifiez l’adresse de l’expéditeur avant toute réponse.” Our official emails only use our own domain; check the sender before you reply.
It is exactly the notice a real private bank publishes when criminals start impersonating it. On a site the AMF has blacklisted, it does something else: it establishes, in the visitor’s first two seconds, that this is the careful party and the danger is elsewhere.
We are not saying the warning is false. We are saying a warning costs nothing to write, and a licence number cannot be written — it has to be issued, and it can be checked. One of those two things is on this page.

What French law requires and what is missing
Giving investment advice in France — conseil en investissements financiers — requires registration with ORIAS and membership of an AMF-approved professional association, and the registration number must be published. Handling épargne, allocation and transmission brings in further obligations.
The site publishes none of it. No ORIAS number, no company registration, no SIREN, no address beyond the word Paris, no named adviser. The one number on the page is the domain in the anti-fraud banner.
The client area
There is an Espace client link and a Prendre rendez-vous button. A login area implies existing clients with existing holdings, and a booking button implies a diary. Both are cheap to build and neither can be checked from outside, which is what makes the pairing effective.
Check a French adviser in two minutes
Search the AMF blacklist at amf-france.org, look the firm up in regafi.fr, and search the ORIAS register at orias.fr for the adviser’s name. Three registers, two minutes. A genuine conseil patrimonial appears in them; this one appears on the blacklist instead.
If you have already deposited
Stop sending money, including any “tax”, “release fee” or “compliance payment” demanded before a withdrawal — those requests are the scam continuing, not the end of it. Screenshot your account page, the deposit record and every message before anything changes. Tell your bank or card issuer at once and ask about a chargeback or a recall; the clock matters more than the amount. Then report it to the AMF at amf-france.org and to your own national regulator.
Our view: Financiere St Gabriel publishes its own anti-impersonation warning, sells regulated advisory services from a seven-month-old domain, and carries no ORIAS or company number. It is on the French blacklist. Do not engage.
