ETH Cloud Mining - MILES

ETH Cloud Mining — The Wallet Is Coming Soon

Verdict up front: this app sells paid mining contracts today. Its own withdrawal screen lists “Withdrawal without fee” as a feature, then shows a current commission of 0.01 ETH immediately below it — and the wallet it recommends you withdraw to is marked COMING SOON. It has no reviews.

ETH Cloud Mining is published by MILES. On the day we checked it showed 1,000+ downloads, no rating and no reviews at all, and carried ads plus in-app purchases. Google’s own content rating is Mature 17+, flagged for Cash Rewards and In-App Purchases.

What is being sold

There is no simulation disclaimer here. The listing is unambiguous about what it claims to be:

From the store listing

AEDFIX Support Banner

“Start receiving ETH through cloud mining — no hardware, no technical skills required. Connect to cloud infrastructure, choose a contract, and watch your Ethereum balance grow… Paid Contracts: Higher mining power and faster ETH balance accumulation.”

Free contract to get you started, paid contracts to go faster, balance withdrawable once you hit the minimum. A conventional cloud-mining pitch, sold to a thousand people.

The withdrawal screen contradicts itself in four lines

Read the app’s own screenshot of its Wallet / Withdraw page. Top of the panel, three bullet points:

“Withdrawal without fee · Wallet synchronization · Instant replenishment”

Directly beside those bullets: “Recommended Wallet: ECM Wallet — COMING SOON.”

And directly below, on the actual withdrawal form: “Withdraw without fee within 30 days”, an Ethereum address field, and then — “Current commission 0.01 ETH.”

So the feature list says no fee. The form says the current commission is 0.01 ETH. Both are on the same screen, a centimetre apart.

At any Ethereum price in recent years, 0.01 ETH is a meaningful sum — typically tens of dollars. For an app whose free tier accumulates slowly, that commission could easily exceed everything a user has mined.

The wallet that does not exist yet

The “recommended wallet” for receiving your Ethereum is the app’s own ECM Wallet, and it is labelled COMING SOON in the app’s own marketing screenshot.

That is the same shape we have now documented several times: money accumulates, the exit is gated, and the gate is controlled by the same people who took the payment. Here the gate is not merely expensive — the recommended route through it has not been built.

Contracts are on sale now. The wallet is coming soon.

What the missing reviews mean

A thousand installs and not one public review. That is not enough people for a rating to be meaningful, which is exactly why this stage matters: right now nobody who has paid for a contract has reported back on whether the withdrawal worked. There is no evidence either way, and the app is asking for money on that basis.

Google’s Mature 17+ rating with a “Cash Rewards” flag is worth noting too. That classification exists because real money is in play.

What to check on any contract-based mining app

  • Compare the fee claim to the fee figure. They are often on the same screen and often do not match.
  • Find out whether the payout route actually exists. “Coming soon” attached to a withdrawal method is a complete answer.
  • Convert the commission into real money. 0.01 ETH is not a rounding error.
  • Zero reviews on a paid product is not neutral. It means nobody has confirmed it pays.

If you are considering a paid contract

Do not buy one until someone has publicly confirmed a completed withdrawal. Never fund a wallet that the app itself has not launched. If you have already paid, request a refund through Google Play directly rather than through the app, and keep the receipt. If money left your account and nothing came back, report it at IC3.gov — reporting is free, and no legitimate service asks you to pay before your money is returned.
