SmartCopy X (smcopyx.com) sells copy trading: “Become a Follower”, “PAMM Ranking”, “Become an Investor”. One menu item still reads “BA Copy – How it Works” — a different brand. The UK FCA warned about the site on 1 October 2026. The domain was registered on 28 July 2026.
Broken characters, borrowed menus
Every bullet in the services section displays as “•” instead of a dot — a character-encoding error that appears when text is copied from one site to another without care. The awards box claims “42+ Industry Awards”; another section says “40+”. It also lists “Top 100 Companies” and “Best Client Funds Security Global” without saying who awarded them.

Copy trading cannot pay a fixed rate
If you copy another trader, your results follow theirs, losses included. A fixed “150% / Trade” next to a copy-trading menu contradicts the very product being sold. The FCA’s warning lists the addresses 11 Grace Avenue in Great Neck, NY and 1 Canada Square in London, with phone 7027064466.
Before you copy anyone
- Check that the platform itself is authorised; a copy-trading service needs permission like any broker.
- Look for real trading history with losses as well as wins. A perfect record is a fabricated one.
- Never let a “mentor” connect to your computer or phone remotely.
- If a dashboard shows profits you cannot withdraw, stop depositing and gather your records.
