Pips Star scam broker warning

Pips Star Scam — Page Title Still Reads Home Ticket

Verdict up front: Pips Star (pipsstar.com) says: “Welcome to the new PIPS STAR. Access global financial markets with a trusted and innovative trading environment.” It is listed on the BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list. The domain was registered on 28 July 2024 — about 2 years 2 months ago.

Website pipsstar.com
Name used PIPS STAR
Page title “Home – Ticket” (template leftover)
Products Forex, indices, commodities, share CFDs
Licence shown None
Listed BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list
Domain registered 28 July 2024 — about 2 years 2 months old

A template nobody finished

The browser tab reads “Home – Ticket” — the name of the website template, not the broker. A firm that has not set its own page title has not done the much harder work of getting licensed.

‘Trusted’

The site calls itself “a trusted and innovative trading environment”. It shows no regulator, licence number, company or address that would let anyone check the word “trusted”.

The ‘new’ Pips Star

“Welcome to the new PIPS STAR” suggests an older version existed. Brokers that relaunch under the same name often do so after complaints or warnings.

Promotions and partnerships

The menu leads with Quick start, Promotions and Partnerships. Bonuses and introducer payments are the usual tools of unlicensed brokers. It is listed on the BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • Listed on the BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list.
  • Page title still the template’s “Home – Ticket”.
  • Calls itself trusted with no licence.
  • Domain registered 28 July 2024.

If money has gone to Pips Star

  • Refuse any extra payment Pips Star says is needed to release profits.
  • Save the trail: payment receipts, wallet addresses, the Pips Star dashboard screenshots and every chat.
  • Report Pips Star to your national financial regulator.
  • Crypto transfers: give the exchange you used the receiving address and the TXID so it can be flagged.
  • Ask your bank’s fraud team to recall the payment to Pips Star and to flag the receiving account.
  • Screenshot your Pips Star account page now, before it disappears.

Where Pips Star should appear — and does not

The quickest test is IOSCO’s I-SCAN database and the register of the regulator where you live: search “Pips Star” and, separately, pipsstar.com. Check how old the address is too — pipsstar.com dates from 28 July 2024. A company number is not a licence — only a financial regulator can grant one. Search the name with the words “warning” and “reviews” too — victims often post first.

The verdict: Pips Star has not finished its own website, let alone a licence. Do not deposit.
