MetaGold — flagged scam broker

MetaGold — A Confirmed USDT Deposit That Never Arrived

Blockchain records do not lie. A trader sent 246.49 USDT on the Polygon network to the deposit address that MetaGold (fxmetagold.com) itself generated. The transfer collected more than 1,600 confirmations. The money still did not reach his trading account.

MetaGold: what the site says

Page title “MetaGold | Licensed Brokerage | Official Website”
Licence number None shown
Company Registered in Georgia, number 404651248, since 2022
Address 11 Viktor Naneishvili Street, Unit 3, Isani District, Tbilisi
Accounts Bonus: Yes; stop-out 10–15%; swap-free
Domain registered 20 February 2023

“Licensed Brokerage” in the title and “Certified. Trusted. Regulated” on the page, but no licence number and no regulator’s name. The trader who lost the deposit believed MetaGold was regulated by MISA, an island registry in the Comoros. Neither claim matches the Georgian company in the footer.

The 23 June deposit

Status on MetaGold Blocked, not credited

When a deposit is confirmed on-chain to an address the broker supplied, the broker received it. A platform that then calls the deposit “blocked” is holding money it has. A second client, in September, described milder trouble: swap-free terms that still charged overnight fees on crypto and metals.

⚠ MetaGold summary

AEDFIX Support Banner
  • “Licensed” in the title, no licence anywhere.
  • Georgian company behind the brand.
  • Confirmed USDT deposit not credited.
  • Bonuses offered on every account.

For any crypto deposit that is not credited, keep the transaction ID, the deposit address the platform gave you and a screenshot of the page that showed it. The blockchain record proves the money arrived. Ask MetaGold in writing why the payment is blocked and what is needed to credit it, and do not send a second deposit to unlock the first. A deposit that the platform’s own system generated cannot fairly be blamed on the client, and the transaction hash is the proof that settles it.
