What the warning says
Malaysia’s Securities Commission lists firms that deal with Malaysian investors without its licence. Being on that list means 200Invest is not authorised to offer CFDs in Malaysia, whatever it holds elsewhere.

An offshore licence is not a local one
The site cites licence SD123 for VIE FINANCE SEY LTD but does not name the regulator. “SEY” and the SD prefix point to the Seychelles. An offshore licence offers far weaker protection than a licence where you live, and it does not permit marketing in countries such as Malaysia.
‘We cannot serve clients from this country’
On our visit a pop-up said the firm could not serve clients from our location. Geo-blocking some countries while accepting others is how offshore CFD firms manage regulators — but the SC warning shows that Malaysian clients were reached.
CFDs carry high risk
Most retail clients lose money trading CFDs. With an offshore firm, complaints go to an offshore regulator, if anywhere.
⚠ Verified evidence

Checking 200Invest yourself
Go to the SC’s Investor Alert List and licensed-entity search. Enter 200invest.com first, then the trading name “200Invest”. The Investor Alert List is updated weekly. Check how old the address is too — 200invest.com dates from 18 January 2022 about 4.7 years old. If you are outside Securities Commission Malaysia’s country, check your own regulator as well.
Already paid 200Invest?
Send nothing more to 200Invest — not even to “upgrade” or “unlock” the account. Treat any “recovery agent” who contacts you about 200Invest as a second scam if they want money first. Get a police or fraud-centre reference number — banks often ask for it.
- Card payment? Request a chargeback for “services not provided” as soon as possible.
- Change passwords and switch on 2FA if you shared logins or installed remote-access apps.
The verdict: 200Invest is not licensed in Malaysia and relies on an offshore licence elsewhere. Malaysian investors have been warned. Think carefully before depositing.
