HintMarkets Scam — Claims Eight Regulators, the FCA Warns

Verdict up front: HintMarkets (hintmarkets.com) calls itself “a multi-regulated global broker” and shows eight regulators’ names, the UK FCA among them. The FCA added HintMarkets to its warning list on 28 September 2026, and the FCA register lists it as unauthorised. Do not open an account.

Eight regulators on the home page

Under the heading “We’re a multi-regulated global broker” the site lists ASIC, the FCA, the DFSA, CIMA, the SEC, CySEC, the FSCA and the FSA of Seychelles. The UK entry is contradicted by the FCA itself: its register shows HintMarkets only as an unauthorised firm on its warning list.

An SEC “registration” that is not how the SEC works

The footer says “Hintmarkets Limited is authorised and regulated by the U.S Securities And Exchange Commission (“SEC”) with Registration No. 4342345462. Registered address: 225 Central Prk W, New York, NY 10024.” The SEC registers broker-dealers, it does not “authorise and regulate” offshore CFD brokers, and a US broker-dealer can be looked up by name on FINRA BrokerCheck and the SEC’s own database.

The same footer then says clients “will engage with services offered by TF Global Markets Int Limited” — a company with a different name from the one on the website — under a Seychelles firm reference, SD060. A broker whose legal small print names someone else is borrowing credentials.

Award-winning at four months old

A badge at the top reads “Award-winning start to 2026”. The domain was registered on 13 May 2026. The site offers “up to 4,000 instruments” and an “Or try demo” button, and names no award.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • FCA (UK) listed HintMarkets on 28 September 2026 (IOSCO I-SCAN).
  • FCA register: HintMarkets — Unauthorised.
  • Claims to be regulated by eight authorities including the FCA.
  • Footer names a different company, TF Global Markets Int Limited, as the service provider.
  • Domain registered 13 May 2026; claims an “award-winning start to 2026”.

Checking HintMarkets yourself

Open the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk and type the exact name “HintMarkets”, then search again for hintmarkets.com. No result, or a result with a different website, means no licence for this site. The FCA register also lists “clone” warnings — check the web address on the entry, not just the name. Then compare the domain date (13 May 2026) with the history the site claims.

The verdict: HintMarkets claims eight regulators, one of which has just warned about it, and its footer hands you to a differently named company. Do not deposit.
