Aether Groups (aethergroups.com) offers retirement planning and investments in bonds, cryptocurrencies, mutual funds, stocks, ETFs and, unusually, agriculture. It says it brings “decades of expertise in financial markets”. Belgium’s financial regulator, the FSMA, added Aether Groups to its list of companies operating unlawfully in Belgium on 12 October 2026.
Retirement money is the target
Of all the things Aether Groups sells, retirement planning is the one to worry about most. People thinking about their pension often have a lump sum, a long horizon and a wish for safety. A firm that offers to manage that money while being named by a European regulator as operating unlawfully is asking for the most trust while offering the least protection.
The FSMA warning means Aether Groups has no authorisation to offer investment services in Belgium. If you are elsewhere in Europe, check your own regulator’s register too. Firms on one national warning list usually work across many countries at once.

Four things we noticed first
- ✗ Decades of expertise claimed, domain registered 12 April 2025.
- ✗ Address in a shopping plaza in La Libertad, El Salvador.
- ✗ No phone number anywhere on the site.
- ✗ A Certification link that opens an image, not a register entry.
Decades of experience on an eighteen month old domain, from a shopping plaza address in El Salvador, selling to European savers. The only proof of standing is a link called Certification that opens a picture. A picture of a certificate is not a licence, and it cannot be checked.
