Falcon International Limited (falconinterhk.group) says it is “an international wealth management service provider that serves social, public, and private companies”. It promises a “revolutionary trading methodology” and lists an office at Nexxus Building, 41 Connaught Road, Central, Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, anyone dealing in or advising on securities must be licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission and appear on its public register with a CE number. Falcon International shows no CE number. Its domain ends in .group, not a Hong Kong address, and the warning came from New Zealand, where it seems to have been looking for clients.
Vague words, real money
Read the About text twice and try to say what Falcon International actually does. It collaborates “with the company’s leadership to establish strategies”, offers “direction and continuing assistance to guarantee your achievement”, and goes “beyond the balance sheets”. None of that is a product. Vague copy leaves room for a salesperson to say anything on the phone.
The “Join Our Team” invitation matters too. Some of these sites recruit local “advisers” who then bring in friends and family, often without knowing the firm is unlicensed.
Before dealing with any Hong Kong firm, search the SFC public register at apps.sfc.hk. If you are in New Zealand, check the FMA warnings list too. And do not take a job selling investments for a firm you cannot find on a register, however good the commission sounds.
