Primestartrade (primestartrade.com, branded “Primestar Trades”) offers forex, indices and metals with leverage of up to 1:1,500. The FCA warned on 30 July 2026 that it is not authorised. The domain was registered on 14 April 2026.

A company number that belongs to someone else

The Primestartrade footer reads “Company number: 11651369”. On the UK Companies House register, that number belongs to an unrelated property company incorporated in October 2018, with no link to trading or to Primestartrade. Borrowing a real company’s number makes a site look registered to anyone who does not check.

Withdrawals that appear on a timer

While you read the page, small notices pop up: “David from Qatar withdrew $7104”, then “William from Guinea withdrew $1304”. They are produced by a script, cycling through invented names and amounts. Real brokers do not publish their clients’ withdrawals. Such feeds are designed to answer the one question every new client has, “can I get my money out?”, before it is asked. The honest answer comes only when you try, and clients of sites like this usually find that a withdrawal triggers a new fee, a tax or a demand for a larger deposit to “verify” the account. The site also has a menu item called “BANK” and a misspelt “CONATACT US” link, small details that a real regulated broker would never let through.

2. Save the dashboard, chats and receipts.
3. Call your bank or card provider.
4. Report to the FCA and the police.
