Swap Euro is a brokerage brand that used swapeurobv.com, named by CONSOB as an unauthorised operator in Italy. When we checked the site it was already offline, but the warning still matters because operators like this commonly resurface under a new domain.
The CONSOB warning
On 15 October 2026 CONSOB listed Swap Euro among operators providing financial services without authorisation and ordered the site blocked. An unauthorised broker sits entirely outside the rules that protect legitimate investors, which means no supervision of deposits and no formal route to recover money.
Domain age and current status
The swapeurobv.com domain was registered on 6 July 2026, only a few months before the warning. When we reviewed it the site no longer resolved and returned a server not found error. A broker that appears briefly on a recent domain and vanishes soon after a regulator warning is a classic throwaway operation.
What affected users should do
Do not respond to anyone claiming they can reopen your account for a fee. Keep every record including deposit confirmations, wallet addresses and chat logs. Report the operator to CONSOB and your bank. AEDFIX can review your case and help you prepare a chargeback or complaint.
