Orman & Co — flagged scam broker

Orman & Co — Claims Three Regulators, ASIC Warns

Orman & Co Limited (orman-co.ai) says it is “FSC Mauritius regulated”, and its page description adds ASIC Australia and FSCA South Africa. It is ASIC, Australia’s regulator, that has warned about the site (IOSCO I-SCAN, checked 21 October 2026). The domain was registered on 24 September 2026 — under a month ago.

Tiers that reward bigger deposits

The entry tier is “A$250 – $4,999”. Clients “graduate to Essential status upon reaching $5,000 in cumulative deposits”, and higher tiers unlock “Priority Withdrawals”. Withdrawal speed that depends on how much you have paid in is a pressure tactic, not a service level. The site also shows charity logos with dates like “Since 1863”, which describe the charities, not the broker.

⚠ Data points

  • ASIC warning, IOSCO I-SCAN.
  • Claims three regulators; ASIC is the one warning.
  • Cites an unknown “FTO-Union” audit.
  • Domain registered 24 September 2026.

Checking the claims yourself

ASIC’s professional register, the FSC Mauritius register and the FSCA’s FSP search are all public. A broker that names three regulators should appear in at least one of them under its own name and web address.

Regulation claimed vs regulation found

Regulator named by Orman & Co What we found
FSC Mauritius No licence number given
ASIC (Australia) ASIC has put the site on its warning list
FSCA (South Africa) No FSP number given
“FTO-Union (Financial Trust Oversight Union)” Not a recognised regulator; described by the site as auditing it

Built in a hurry

The page images load from a website-builder service, and the share metadata points to orman-co.com rather than orman-co.ai. Two descriptions of its regulators disagree with each other: one lists FSC Mauritius, ASIC and FSCA, another only “ASIC & FSCA”. For a broker claiming three licences, none of the three licence numbers appears anywhere on the site.
