Largest in the world, since April
The headline is unambiguous: PLATEFORME ICO · LEADER MONDIAL DU TRADING, then “La plus grande plateforme de trading ICO au monde”, then “Un véritable leader de l’industrie reconnu pour son service financier de première classe.” A genuine industry leader, recognised for first-class financial service.
Registry records put the first registration of tradeopol.com at 1 April 2026. Five months and three weeks before we looked, the largest ICO trading platform in the world did not have a web address.
The counters underneath are in the same register: 400+ trading assets, 150+ professional employees, 10,000+ stocks. A firm with 150 staff has offices, filings and named directors. None appear here.
⚠ Verified evidence — checked 23 September 2026
- tradeopol.com is on the French AMF blacklist (crypto-assets derivatives).
- The domain was registered on 1 April 2026 — under six months before this check.
- It claims to be “la plus grande plateforme de trading ICO au monde” — the largest in the world.
- It claims 150+ professional employees and names not one of them.
- The navigation includes a Bonus page — deposit bonuses are banned for retail CFD clients across the EU.
- No licence number, company registration or client-loss disclosure appears on the page.
The bonus page
Second item in the menu, between Articles and Marchés: Bonus.
This is the detail that settles it. Since 2018, offering deposit bonuses or trading incentives to retail CFD clients has been prohibited across the European Union, because bonuses come with volume conditions that trap the deposit — you cannot withdraw until you have traded some multiple of the bonus, and most people never can. A firm marketing to French speakers with a bonus page is advertising something an authorised firm in that market is not permitted to offer.
ICO, in 2026
“ICO” — initial coin offering — describes an unregistered token sale model that peaked in 2017 and 2018 and was the subject of enforcement action in most major markets afterwards. Building a 2026 brand around being the world’s biggest ICO platform is either a decade out of date or deliberately evocative of a period when nothing was checked.
Check a broker in two minutes
Search the AMF blacklist at amf-france.org and the register at regafi.fr. Then check the domain’s age against the company’s claims. When a firm says “world’s largest” and the registry says “six months old”, you do not need the third check.
If you have already deposited
Stop sending money, including any “tax”, “release fee” or “compliance payment” demanded before a withdrawal — those requests are the scam continuing, not the end of it. Screenshot your account page, the deposit record and every message before anything changes. Tell your bank or card issuer at once and ask about a chargeback or a recall; the clock matters more than the amount. Then report it to the AMF at amf-france.org and to your own national regulator.
Our view: Tradeopol claims to be the world’s largest ICO platform from a six-month-old domain, advertises a bonus EU rules forbid, names no licence, and is on the French blacklist. Do not deposit.
